The WhiteLight Consulting team are back on the road again. This week we’re in the beautiful Hodson Bay Hotel, Athlone working on the Judging Days for the National Lottery Good Causes Awards. We’re meeting with finalists from all over the country who are representing their organisations in a variety of categories.
On Monday we’ll be meeting finalists in the Sports, Arts and Heritage categories while Tuesday will see the arrival of the Health, Youth and Community finalists. Adjudicators will also be assessing the special award for Irish Language and selecting an overall winner. Check out the list of finalists right here …
The National Lottery Good Causes Awards adjudicators panel is chaired by broadcaster and entrepreneur Bobby Kerr. He is joined by National Lottery presenter Nuala Carey and Seamus Griffin of the National Lottery Retail Council. They are joined by representatives of the National Lottery Head of Marketing Michael Hayes and PR & Communications Manager Miriam Donohoe.
Finalists will pitch their organisations to the adjudicators, focusing on the impact that they have in their community, highlighting their innovation and creativity. The National Lottery Good Causes Awards seeks to shine a light on all of the amazing organisations around Ireland who deliver so much to local people in their community.
The competition will culminate in a Gala Black Tie Awards Ceremony at the Clayton Burlington Hotel on Saturday 3rd November, hosted by Karen Koster of Virgin Media One. Follow the competition on social media using #GoodCausesAwards or on the National Lottery’s Facebook and Twitter.
