Who said an Accountancy Conference had to be dull? Well Day 3 of the IAPA Conference was anything but. 20 delegates started their day with a 7km jog around the city while another 60 set off on foot for a private viewing of The Books of Kells.
McInerney Saunders Partner Owen Sheehy had an earlier start than everyone else when he and Karen Devine headed over to the Newstalk studios in Digges Lane. Owen was interviewed by Business Editor Ian Guider about the IAPA Conference in Dublin. His interview was live on Newstalk Business at 6.40am!
From there the day got really lively. 4 Viking Splash Ducks took to the streets of Dublin filled with IAPA Delegates aka Vikings on the look out for pesky Celts. A hearty lunch was consumed in No. 37 Dawson Street before teams of Dublin adventurers took to the streets of the capital exploring and collecting much sought points towards their total score … but we suspect one or two might have stopped off for a pint along the way!
Great fun was had by one and all and after a chilled out dinner in The Conrad Hotel guests adjourned for the evening … though again, we suspect quite a number may be hitting the dancefloor again for a late night boogie in Dublin!
