This year’s Flavours of Fingal played host to a huge selection of artisan food vendors, trade stands, a vast number of entertaining activities for young and old alike, as well as over 80,000 visitors to the site over two days!
The grounds of Newbridge House, Donabate, were flooded with excited festival-goers and food connoisseurs, and we at WhiteLight Consulting were delighted to work alongside Fingal County Council to bring Flavours of Fingal a relaxing Corporate Hospitality section. We welcome sponsors and corporate guests from many different business backgrounds to join us for light refreshments in our beautiful, airy, open-sided marquee – a perfect escape from the glorious summer sunshine!
With fantastic live music by Marvin and the Grooves, the Halleluiah Gospel Choir and Roy Taylor, children’s entertainment, and a record number of attendees, you won’t want to miss out on next year’s event. We can hardly believe admission was free! Some of the attractions this year included: the Avonmore SuperMilk Wild Air Run; a full working vintage farm area with old-school equipment and farming techniques; a full equestrian area showcasing show hunting, show jumping, miniature and traditional horses, carriage-driving; cookery demos; sheep racing, sheep herding, sheep shearing; Viking battles and war re-enactments; and so, so much more.
