Day 1 of the IAPA 2013 International Conference saw delegates from 33 different countries land in Dublin. This four day programme will showcase Ireland as a destination for foreign investment and seeks to forge business partnerships across the globe.
Hosted by Gerry McInerney of McInerney Saunders Accountants in Swords. the conference is the annual gathering of IAPA members. Delegates have traveled from Australia, US, Canada, China, India, South America, South Africa and all over Europe to be here. Delegates spent the day exploring the city at leisure and most took the opportunity to enjoy a trip to the Guinness Storehouse to enjoy Ireland’s most famous export.
Proceedings got off to a lively start at this evening’s welcome evening. Guests were welcomed to Ireland by the McInerney Saunders team who hosted a fabulous, fun-filled Irish night with the musicians from Ragús setting feet tapping and hearts racing.
The Conrad Hotel is home to this Dublin conference and the coming days will see a myriad of superb speakers deliver educational and thought provoking speeches on accountancy, business, leadership and mental health and well-being.
